New investment for GlassCo Ltd.

GlassCo Ltd. realized an investment under the project “Technological modernization in the enterprise”- BG –RRP-3.004-0328-C-01. The purpose of the current investment is to increase the competitiveness, productivity and export potential of GlassCo Ltd., by expanding the production capacity. The project falls under the category “Expansion of the capacity of an existing business facility”. The total value of the project is BGN 1,459,440.35, of which BGN 700,000 is grant funding.

To achieve the stated goal, the following DMAs will be acquired within the project: Glass edging line, low-emission and laminated glass cutting line and a system for separating solid particles from water used to cool the tools of mechanical processing machines of glass to realize the following activities:

Activities to improve the production processes, increase in production capacity, increased productivity, digitization of production processes, growth of export revenues compared to the previous years, growth of net sales revenue compared to their weighted value for previous periods.

Achieving these results will provide GlassCo Ltd. with the competitive advantages that will guarantee the future successful development of the company on the Bulgarian and international markets.

Upon realization of the set goals, GlassCo Ltd. will develop its full potential in terms of quality of final products, deadlines and correct relations with customers. The implementation of the planned activities to improve the production process will lead to the acquisition of a Vertical line for edging glass, a line for cutting low-emission and laminated float glass and a system for separating solids particles from the water used to cool the tools of glass processing machines that will optimize the main technological processes in the processing and production of glass – cutting, edging, enamelling, drilling and milling, tempering, lamination, Heat Soak Test.

The digitized principle of operation of the new machines will lead to an increase in productivity and the elimination of the possibility of human errors in the execution and processing of glass.

On the other hand, the introduction of parameters during the preparation will allow the implementation of the technological stages to take place in the most resource-efficient way possible – maximum utilization of the glass, reduction of waste.

All this will lead to an increase in production capacity, which will allow GlassCo Ltd. to take on more complex orders.

The expected positive changes will affect the company’s revenues, which will help to further increase investments in expanding production capacity, deploying export potential, consolidating current market positions and opportunities to enter export markets.
