Laminated glass consists of two or more layers of glass, held together by an interlayer, typically polyvinyl butyral (PVB). In the event of breaking, the interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. Laminated glass is strong, soundproof and blocks the incoming UV-rays. Laminated glass is used for:
- Facades
- Glass stairs or floors
- Roofs
- Glass shields
- Safety glass
- Soundproofing
In order to meet all of your requirements, GLASSCO gives you the opportunity to combine different types, colors and widths of glass.
